Hiking in Maine, August 2008
With Dave's help, I attempt to finish the NE 4000-footers in a weekend: 3 days, 10 mountains, 52 miles. The late arrival of my flight into Boston, however, delayed everything, and I did not get a chance to hit Old Speck. Nevertheless, we did hike: Saturday- Saddleback and the Horn (15mi); Sunday- Crocker, South Crocker and Redington (10mi); Sugarloaf and Spaulding (10mi); Monday- Bigelow, Avery and West Peaks (10mi).
